Privacy policy
This policy covers the apps Studio CW uses to run Meta (Facebook and Instagram) advertising for its clients, and the client work that goes with them. It explains what information those apps read, how we use it, and how to have it deleted.
Who we are
Studio CW LLC is a media production company in St. Louis, Missouri. You can reach us at calvin@studiocw.co.
What our Meta apps do
Our apps connect to the Meta Marketing API. A business owner gives us access to their ad account and Facebook Page, and we use that access to build, review and report on that business's ads. The apps work only on accounts the owner has shared with us, and only while that access stays in place.
Information the apps read
- Ad account details, such as the account name, status, currency and spending.
- Campaign, ad set and ad settings, including budgets, schedules and targeting.
- Ad results reported by Meta, such as reach, impressions, clicks and message starts. Meta reports these as totals and groups, not as named people.
- The name and ID of the Facebook Pages the business has shared with us.
- Images and videos the business gives us to use in its ads.
The apps do not read anyone's private messages. When a person taps an ad and sends a message, that conversation goes to the business's own Page inbox, and the business answers it.
How we use it
We use this information only to create and manage the ads the business asked for and to report results back to that business. We do not sell it, rent it, or share it with anyone outside the business and Studio CW, except where the law requires us to.
Where it is kept
Ad settings and results stay in the business's Meta account. Any copies we keep for reporting stay in our private business files and are deleted when the work ends or when the business asks us to delete them. Access keys are stored in a private file on our own computers and are never published.
Deleting your information
A business can remove our access at any time. In Meta Business Settings, remove Studio CW's access to the ad account and Page, or remove the app under Settings, then Business Integrations.
To ask us to delete anything we hold, email calvin@studiocw.co with the subject "Data deletion request". We will confirm by email within 30 days once it is done.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update this page and the effective date at the top.
